As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll work closely with Team Leaders, Cleaning Technicians, and Operations Managers to ensure each commercial site consistently meets company standards, workplace safety requirements, and client expectations. Strong leadership and consistent quality control are essential to delivering outstanding commercial cleaning services. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll oversee multiple teams while ensuring every site meets both company and client expectations.

Your role includes mentoring Team Leaders, providing constructive feedback, monitoring productivity, and conducting regular inspections to identify opportunities for improvement. You'll also assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring they understand company procedures, cleaning techniques, and workplace safety requirements.

Quality management involves more than inspections - it means developing a culture where every team member takes pride in delivering exceptional results. You'll encourage accountability, recognise strong performance, address service issues promptly, and work collaboratively with Operations Managers to improve operational efficiency across multiple client locations.

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is a core responsibility of every Cleaning Supervisor. Maintaining safe workplaces protects employees, clients, and visitors while ensuring compliance with Australian workplace regulations and company policies.

You'll ensure staff use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly, follow safe chemical handling procedures, operate equipment safely, and comply with site-specific safety requirements. Regular workplace inspections help identify potential hazards before they become incidents.

You'll also maintain accurate documentation, complete incident reports when required, support risk assessments, and ensure all cleaning activities comply with company procedures and client requirements. By promoting a strong safety culture, you'll help reduce workplace risks while maintaining reliable and professional service delivery across every commercial site.

Building strong client relationships is one of the most important aspects of a Cleaning Supervisor's role. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are understood and consistently met.

Regular communication allows you to address service requests, discuss operational improvements, resolve concerns quickly, and provide updates on cleaning schedules or special projects.
